Christos Michalis, originally from New Zealand, has enjoyed a vast and full life that his musical endevours have provided him with. Currently based in Berlin, Christos is a recognised talent on the upright bass, with many projects already in his name.

After graduating with his Bachelor of Music degree in New Zealand, Christos made the move to Europe and enjoyed playing traditional Greek music with his father (also a musician) around Greece, before moving to London where he quickly became a welcome addition to the music scene there.

It was not to last as a project from New Zealand had moved to Berlin, and insisting that only the best player would do, Christos found himself moving to Berlin. Several concerts and bands later, Christos enjoys his time playing his favourite genre with some of the best professionals Berlin has to offer. From fast tempo swing and reflective ballads, Christos is right at home with Two and a Half Standards, and delights in every performance.

Adrien Liebermann, a versatile saxophonist and passionate music educator hails from the crossroads of France and Germany, now based in Berlin.

A sought-after performer, he has collaborated with leading orchestras such as the Berliner Philharmoniker, NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester, and Deutsche Oper Berlin.

While rooted in classical music, Adrien’s artistry spans multiple genres—he co-founded the crossover duo Raphy & Adry, performs with the metal band Dekadenza, and explores jazz in the trio Two & A Half Standards.

A graduate of the Universität der Künste Berlin, Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" Berlin, and the Académie supérieure de Musique de Strasbourg, he has earned recognition as a soloist and international prize winner. Adrien’s academic work explored improvisation in composed music, reflecting his deep engagement with the saxophone’s expressive potential. Dedicated to music education, he inspires the next generation through his teaching and artistic versatility.

Aurelien Falconnet is a Paris-born, Berlin-based musician, sound engineer, and producer with a deep-rooted passion for groove-driven and genre-blending music.

Trained as a pianist and later specializing in bass, he developed his sound in Paris’s vibrant, multicultural scene before touring Europe with projects spanning Afrobeat, Soul, Reggae, Jazz, and Hip-Hop.

Since moving to Berlin in 2016, he has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including jazz figures like Aki Takase, Billy Hart, and Benny Greb, and hip-hop acts such as Antilopen Gang.

Aurelien is active in Berlin’s live scene, working at venues like Prachtwerk and A-Trane Jazz Club, and co-founded Mulackei, a cultural space supporting experimental performance and collaboration. In 2024, he launched Falcon Studio Berlin, a creative hub dedicated to high-quality, genre-crossing music production.
